The Visitors’ Centre is an ideal field trip destination for elementary, secondary and post-secondary school groups and educators.
Presentations are tailored around the Ontario school curriculum and touch a number of topics including electricity production and the environment, energy for the next generation, radiation, nuclear waste management, sources of electricity generation, careers, Canada’s nuclear history, emergency preparedness and basic electricity.
The Visitors’ Centre also provides an interesting visit for community service organizations, social clubs and youth groups.
Groups often take advantage of the facility’s conference rooms to combine a regular meeting with a visit.
